  •   The Duck Pond Wildlife Care Education Center is a memorial to our amazing friend, mentor, and legend....

  •                  Donald Cote, and his wife Carleen

  •   This amazing couple started Duck Pond Wildlife Care back in 1964, when he received his first critter...a baby black duck!!  His friends and neighbors in the Vassalboro, Maine area, knew him well!

  •   On December 22, 2024, Don passed away...leaving me with his dream. My hopes are to continue on through educating our communities. He was a HUGE influence on me, and I carry many of his ways at my Wilderness Miracles Wildlife Rehab.
